I'm not very good at remembering what I've done across a span of time, so I will try my best to offer little updates of what's been going on in my life (maybe I'll even aim for a weekly or biweekly updates). What's Been Going On?
- I forgor ... I joined Dreamwidth though and Colours TCG
- Waiting on feedback for my contract work mostly, so I've just been doing other stuff
- Goatlings finally shut down, at least it was incentive for me to work on my own shrine for it and a template based off it, and I returned to Pixel Cat's End as a virtual pet site (albeit I'm running low on mats help)
Games
- Back in the Minecraft trenches (again), I played the One Block challenge but also partially returned to my own forever worlddd
- Chugging through Divinity of Sin 2's co-op with my friend on and off, though it's dumb that we both have to re-verify our games each time or else the direct connection won't work lmfao
- Pulled Columbina + her weapon in genshin, she's pretty much fully built at the moment aside from some dogshit artifact pieces that need fixing; I've actually been having a lot of fun again exploring Nod Krai + doing the quests
Watching / Reading
- Finished Arcane Season 2, it was aight. I might write up a review on it eventually on my media log
- Watching Fate/strange Fake finally!! I am so excited!! That and Isekai Office Worker which is uh. Something so far lmfao
- Reading the second Witcher book right now, nearly done with it to move to the third

What's Been Going On?
- Finally began work on my contract, I definitely over-estimated it taking me a month ... ish ... my focus is really kicking my ass right now when I'm also violently bouncing between wanting to work on my site, or do Minecraft
- Doing that lil news segment for our school project soon ... classmate is also coming to lunch w/family this weekend, so that's cool
- My mini walking treadmill came in and its so nice to be able to walk inside while just having a video playing
- Ended up making two more templates since I released my very first one

Site rehaul!! By the time this comes out though, it'll probably already be past
this date LOL ... I'm waiting to push everything right now. I would like to do a
code refactor for my OC pages soon enough, plus I have some changes I want to

- Back in the Minecraft trenches, I caved to get shader packs because they make it look nicer
- Not much else, been mostly focused on Minecraft, coding, or Warframe with my friend
- She did buy Vampire Survivors so looking forwards to more co-op runs with that

- Following the Twisted Wonderland anime, didn't expect it'd be a fun and light romp
- Finished Arcane S1, but still partially only through S2

What's Been Going On?
- Got to hang out with one of my classmates and we're gonna go to a pancake place tomorrow which is cool!!!
- My college wants to do a news segment on our project we did in December which is also pretty dang awesome
- Getting payment for contracts sucks ass (pulling teeth)
- Made my first HTML/CSS templates to share, and I've been trying to put my carrds for sale on VGen but it's a convoluted ass system (manually sharing access to people)

- Dispatch episodes 5 and 6 came out today and I NEED MOR I NEED MORE I NEEDDHHRHRHGHG IT'S SO GOOD IM ON MY HANDS AND KNEES TO KNOW HOW IT ENDS GOTY FOR ME 10/10 HUMOUR IS FUNNY AS FUCK LOVE EVERYONE!!!! (I don't like all the romantic implications of stuff cause I ain't here to date I got a JOB to do)
- Silent Salt and White Lily legendary skins in CRK are MINE MAUAHAUAHAUA
- Finished HSR's 3.7 story last night and I won't lie, it got some ugly tears out of me at the end. To the wildass shippers, no this is a platonic story about love (half joking but I'm also half dreading the male trailblazer self-insert het freaks rising out of the woodworks over Cyrene)

- Finished Digital Circus rewatch and I'm excited for the next episode in December

What's Been Going On?
- Finally got my contract work set up, now I'm gritting my teeth for my bank to finally open my business account so I can get to work!!!! 😡
- Kinda been a blur ... mostly focused on editing my friend's book and doing the cover work for it
- Learned about the concept of a munbond, and although I am still a bit hesitant to use it, it is what describes what I have with Sylvie perfectly (they are like a brain companion to me that's very alive on their own/reactive without my input)
- I made a personal pillowfort account as well, and I'm just trying to yap there more ... but I gotta learn to balance out with interacting on my art account too
- I gotta get back to journaling ... last week was a bad blur, so I don't think I've written anything down

Sighs Cookie Run Kingdom got me in its clutches again ... to be fair, finding
out you can 'bank' and hide your production buildings has been a literal godsend
and got me back into it
- Ended up getting all the current Beast cookies too LOL
- I mostly came back for Millennial Tree in December because Millennial Tree is the literal Zhongvie lovechild

more books I wanna read
- I found a 2002 edition of the first LOTR book from my mini library, and I wanna read it before I return it back
- Maybe for next year I can up my 5 books a year to 8 books a year as a little goal

What's Been Going On?
- Most of my commissions are done; I wanna open them back up again but I'm still in the void if my contract is going through or not for development
- Been mostly doing small things on the website and maybe considering moving OC galleries over ... though space will be an issue

I've been settling into

as a social media site and slow in a way that makes it nice to keep up with

- Officially flying the demigirl flag on there ... I'm still kinda conflicted on using it when I still also ID as cis, but it might just need some time. Demigirl to me is 'I am a girl, I guess' cause I'm not very connected to it

- Got into Hades II again since the 1.0 release is live (I did play during early access, but I wanted to have the full story)
Watching / Reading
- Finished the Captive Prince trilogy in full, hopefully I can write up a small review on it when I get a chance (for my media page)
- Back to Castlevania: Nocturne and I'm rewatching the Apothecary Diaries alongside my friend who hasn't seen it yet (hoping for Digital Circus rewatching eventually too)

What's Been Going On?
- I'm working on a custom carrd website commission and I'm super excited about it!!
- Next week is a meeting talking about some contract work I'm doing as a Unity developer and it's a little scary to consider; although I know C# and Unity cause I've been working with both for 7+ years, I'd never consider myself a professional coder or developer ... so to have a contract job centric around it does make me anxious

I got back into using
Spirit City
again for focusing on things, or just having some background movement while I'm
watching a video; highly recommend it for people who want a feeling of a body
double/ambiance noise and built in tools like a pomodoro timer, to-do list, etc
- I still like using PonyTown for focusing, but when you're alone on it and people are huddled in their friend groups, it does get a little lonely
Games
- Still deep in Warframe hell ...
- Been focused on exploring the new Nod Krai region in Genshin, but I think burnout from massively farming primos to pull Lauma is catching up to me
- Playing Cookie Run Ovenbreak on and off as my night unwinding (what the hell are people on for random breakouts, I can't even keep up with their scores...)

- I tend to buddy read with my bestie, cause it helps me keep up with reading, but I want a book series to read on my own at my own pace again
- Found a cool article talking about the practice of commonplacing since I was pondering what my Obsidian vault is ... and it's a weird collection of what I learn more than anything

What's Been Going On?
- I finally opened up commissions again after so long ... it's weird, I have art burnout for my own artwork, but for commissions I can push through it (obviously it's money as a factor, but still)
- With school being done, I've kinda just been recovering and trying to sort out the contract work I'm aiming for at the moment
- Walking again properly and being able to have time to myself is nice ...
Games
- Warfame has gripped me violently back into its grasp alongside my bestie, and its drowned out whatever other games I was doing right now (Oberon rework please please please come sooner please)
- I began a sims 3 legacy challenge which I'm documenting here on a page
- Also began replaying the Age of Mythology campaign again cause that game lives stupidly rent free in my brain
Watching / Reading
- Same as last time: Betrothed to My Sister's Ex, the new Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, and The Summer Hikaru Died
- Currently reading the second Captive Prince book, and I've been moving my reading list over to Storygraph instead of Good Reads
- Found the Romanian versions of The Witcher book series so I'm gonna give that a shot to try to keep up with reading my own mother tongue

What's Been Going On?
- Finished my post-grad last class today!! We still have a showcase to show our final group VR project, so I'm not fully done, but in terms of projects and assignments it's all over
- My ... computer got stuck in a blue screen loop and it forced me to reinstall windows ... and I overwrote the wrong partition, so I lost a lot of my personal projects and original art files (CSP files anyway). Thankfully a lot isn't lost because it's scattered in other places, but things like my RPG Maker game to promote my friend's book and other Unity game projects are gone
- I bought myself a celebratory dinosaur plushie to celebrate graduating (again) :) Maybe I'll drop him off in my blog
- Beginning to work again on my Brick Breaker game that got nuked with my laptop, and I'm trying to keep a project log on Obsidian rather than Notion

- Gonna play OFF tonight!! It was gifted to me by my friend who's been wanting me to play it, and the remaster/remake would be perfect to get into it
- Still into Palia after visiting my IRL friend since she and her fiance play it, so I get to see them online and wave to them too. Been making good progress to get a profitable farm and become a fishing master

What's Been Going On?
- I didn't even realize how quickly the time passed, it's almost August now ... last 3 weeks of school to chug through, and it's over
- I visited my IRL friend just yesterday and slept over at her place!! It was really nice to see her again, considering it's been years, but we get along really well. Her fiance cooked us all dinner :]
- I began working on a Genshin wiki in Obsidian and it's been fun to create built lists for all my characters so I know who I'm working on/what artifacts they need. It does mean my focus is a little drawn away from here though
- Got up to 2016 in my art gallery, though I kinda burned out a bit; 2016 is going to have the most art to list for now, so I'm not mentally prepared yet to sit through it

- Finished Deltarune CH 3 and 4 completely, and I need to update my media log for that
- Picked up playing Palia again while I was at my friend's, since she and her fiance have been super into it
- Picked up playing Touhou 8: Imperishable Night and Need for Speed Most Wanted again since those are childhood games to me

What's Been Going On?
- Blargh, back to school. Nothing of major note has been happening outside of project work and annoyance with my career class that I do not need as someone who's done resume and job applications before
- I ... think I'm basically in on the one VR development opportunity I got offered, though he did mention if work was to come, it'd be more in the fall
- I've kinda gotten a hang of using Obsidian now to take down learning notes + daily offloading of 'in the moment' thoughts
- Progressing further with doing the little mini RPG Maker game for my friend's book promo
- Mostly site work, made Sylvie's genshin game kit + made an art gallery

- Deltarune chapter 2 is being worked through slowly

Pulled Phainon for HSR a few days ago (in like 30 whole pulls??? and without
guarantee???) so I've been building him slowly
- In terms of Genshin Impact, mostly been working on Skirk and getting her to 90, as well as trying to get better artifacts for her
- Finally got a chance to make a new Spore account, though it was like pulling teeth since I had to re-buy Galactic Adventures ... again ... I own these games 3 times over now ... fucking hate EA Games
- Started playing Imperishable Night (Touhou) again since it's what I grew up on during high school, though I'm so out of practice ... annoying when easy is too easy but the normal is too hard
- Started a Rags to Riches challenge in Sims 4 using my Sylvie and Zhongli sims, though I think I hit my burnout now that I'm at the point of a stable house + needing to wait to save money

What's Been Going On?
- On the cusp of ending my school break ... the day before I went to a mixer for my school, although I was invited as a guest (since it's a program for people wanting to start freelancing or start-up companies), I got to meet some really cool people there including a fellow Genshin-er
- Almost been doing journaling for a month straight!! Surprisingly the 'note a single highlight of the day' has been working really well for me; I can just leave it at that, or expand on it if I want to with no pressure. Sometimes I miss weekends because there's no comfortable time to write alone, but that's ok
- Began trying to learn Godot following Brackey's tutorial, though I'm only like 20 minutes in because I'm trying to note things down

I may ... ? Have found some job opportunity ... ? Or well, my teacher
recommended me to someone, although it's for programming, it's in Unity which
I'm very familiar with. I'm not too sure of the details, but I already signed an
NDA and got sent the software to work with so ... ? It's only
freelancing/contract work for now and gathering a pool of talent, but who is to
know about the future ...
- It's a little scary because I've never considered offering myself for any developer/programming jobs; I know how to code in C#, but I'd never consider myself confident enough to say I know it enough for a job ... even though y'know, I have coded games in it
- I think I'm getting a hang of using Obsidian, though mine is very boringly for just noting down my learning in programs like Godot for stuff

- Finally finished with Undertale, and slowly going through Deltarune (I'm streaming it for my friend, so it's when we have a chance to play)
- Got gifted the entire Bioshock series (I already had 2, but the bundle included the DLC), so I'm beginning to play the first Bioshock
- Got back into Bleach Brave Souls, though very casually (I miss my Ukitake)
- Downloaded Reverse 1999 and the new Persona 5 spinoff mobile game, though I haven't dabbled much in either beyond half an hour (a bit more for Reverse 1999)
- Unlocked the room expansion in Neko Atsume 2 💖
Watching / Reading
- Sadge, last episode of Apothecary Diaries season 2 next week ... at least I am planning to dive into the novels eventually
- Picked up slowly reading The Hounds of Sisyphus and god Pyo Guwon is so hot. Even if he ends up (maybe) being a black flag MC, I'm all for manipulative murdery guys that don't resort to non-con (which is so prevalent in manhwa/manga in general 💀) so um ... hopefully it won't go there
- Still trying to get through The Hollow Places, but I think I'm on a bit of a burnout

What's Been Going On?
- Ughhh ughh ugh school assignment stuff UGH (I just have gotten rusty with doing assignments so it's always like something looming over my skull); we have been learning cool coding things though

Picked up journaling again, or I'm trying to anyway by keeping it simple and
doing a single highlight a day at the bare basic, and writing more only if I
need to. Honestly it's been nice, especially since I have a lot of stickers and
enjoy decorating the pages, though I'm trying my best to not get overwhelmed
- I found out all along I had a double sided tape roll from college that I completely forgot about ... I've been trying to use glue sticks 🗿
- Picked up using Obsidian to try to keep notes of stuff I'm learning, especially for things like Unreal or Blender, or when I decide to learn Blockbench modelling. It's hard because I tend to watch/do rather than take notes of the process, which can bite me in the ass. Heavily inspired from JayTheDevGuy's video on it
- Mostly just been focused on helping my friend with her author livelihood and book editing for her
- Site wise, it's mostly just been back-end stuff cause right now that's more appealing to me than making new content. Creating my media log though has been really cool
- I'm trying to carry my 3DS around more with me to have as something to do that's not on my phone
Games
- Finished my coop Baldur's Gate 3 run and ... promptly uninstalled to free up space; I'll return at some point to do Gale's run and finish my final few achievements for 100%
- Replaying Undertale (especially for my friend who never saw it played in full before) in prep for Deltarune
- Got back into Bleach: The 3rd Phantom on my 3DS which has been eating into my life (good way)
- Replayed Imperishable Night (Touhou) cause I grew up on playing this during high school lunches
- Been slowly going through the FFXIV ARR story with my friend since we have set times for her to sit and play through while I'm there for moral support/body doubling
- Found Elite Beat Agents again for my 3DS ... issue is it keeps crashing 🥲

- Paused on Laziness Does Not Exist for now, though I'd still like to get back to it
- Picked up reading The Hollow Places and I see why T. Kingfisher's writing is really appealing to me now (simplicity, humanness, it reads like how I think)
- Finished Thousand Autumns / Quan Qiu fully (minus the short stories, no real plans to read them anytime soon)

What's Been Going On?
- Approaching the fourth week of the semester, and we finally settled on a group game we're doing for a charity that's teaching kids about African history and culture, and we're going to make a cooking simulator teaching 1-2 cultural relevant dishes; I'm really excited for it!! I do worry about some of the classmates that aren't consistent with showing up, but because we're a full group of 8, there's at least 5 of us who are consistent with work
- I finally took the plunge to upload my old project Electrobit fully on itch.io; the version that was up was an old alpha version, but since the game has been off the App Store for at least a few years now, I decided to add my finalized version (which was different than what was uploaded)
- The tomato plants in the nursery downstairs are finally going to be moved out tomorrow or the next day, poor things grew so much that they're pushing against the ultraviolet light but it's been far too cold to plant them
- I've been making progress on my RPG Maker MZ game to help promo my friend's book, and getting close to finishing the first edit of the book itself
- Ate homemade hamburgers for the first time in a few months :)

- Replayed a bit of Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer on my jailbroken 3DS 🤣

- Still doing The Apothecary Diaries, did pick up one episode of Witch Watch which is pretty funny so far
- Halfway through reading Laziness Does Not Exist and it's really drilled in how society really pushes for people to be overworked and punishing them for listening to their own mental health and bodily health. A good read for some tips to try to break out of society's toxicity of punishing 'laziness'
- Finished volume 4 of Thousand Autumns / Quan Qiu and I'm so excited to get to the last volume

What's Been Going On?

Starting my new semester ... last semester too, which makes me mildly worried
about all my courses and all the assignments that we need to do; I'm gonna try
to stay on top of them this time
- It doesn't help that halfway through the course we're swapping three (three!) classes from online to in person ... we're probably gonna try to complain about it since many of the students here travel by transport and don't live in the city
- With summer being here ... ish ... I've been going out on more walks and playing more Pokémon Go, which is nice
- The seeds my grandma put in the nursery we borrowed have been growing super well, though I had to rip one root that was reaching out to the other seeds
- I got the books Atomic Habits and Laziness Does Not Exist which I'm looking forwards to reading
Games
- I've gotten back into FFXIV which SIGHS ... now it's taken my attention away from Minecraft, but it's ok. Got it to boot up on SteamDeck
- Still going through my co-op run and gale story run in Baldur's Gate 3
- I've been mostly working on updating my Backloggd
Watching
- Mostly been on a Minecraft YouTuber binge, Aust has been my comfort watch when I go to bed
- Finished with FMAB, still waiting for Apothecary Dairies to keep airing and releasing
