Now / What Am I Up To?

I'm not very good at remembering what I've done across a span of time, so I will try my best to offer little updates of what's been going on in my life (maybe I'll even aim for a weekly or biweekly updates). General

Did my very first escape room ever, which honestly I'm glad we managed to finish, even if we needed some extended time to do it
Found my old iPod Touch 4th Gen and got it jailbroken and working as a ... well, iPod for music + some smaller games like original. Battery life is kinda shit though but I dunno how much I wanna risk opening it just to change out the battery, considering how anti-repair Apple is in general
Began remaking my 2012 DeviantART page after I found out it had got nuked in my SSD accidental rewrite ... thankfully working off my existing archived devART account + having already done it once, it helped make it go by a little faster

Games

Genshin's 6.6 story was fucking great, mostly because it was a lot of good Sylvie brainworms as well which I do still need to ramble about (eventually) in some longwinded tumblr post (and Dreamwidth probably)
Finally back to Silksong, although progressing at my own slower pace (which means exploring as much as I can)
Located a fan remake of Tap Tap Revenge aka one of those 2010 mobile games that now doesn't work, but someone recreated all the games + song lists and it's dope

Watching, Reading, and Writing

Currently reading the 2nd book of Copper Coins, but I'll be honest it's kinda dragging plot-wise ... or rather, there's so much fluff that it makes it kinda annoying to get to the plot (I do not need to read a whole ass description about how the inside of the carriage looks like)
Still going through Witch Hat Atelier and Daemons of the Shadow Realm, did end up watching the first of the 3-part Evangelion movies and wowie there's some weird ass differences going on
Nothing big written in particular, I do have one blog posts that's a work in progress in reflecting my usage of Obsidian, but I've been for some reason waiting to post it ... I think I was wanting to finish my site revamp, but honestly I shouldn't wait LOL
I began logging bookmarks of note, like videos I watched and liked (but didn't necessarily always save in my bookmarks explicitly), or articles I read, or web stuff in general
I did make my own AlternativeTo list for tools I often use
Finished reading the Enshittification book, although I haven't made any notes, it was an interesting food for thought to look out for patterns
- My main takeaway is really how much apps and social medias lock you in, it basically makes it impossible for you to move away from them because you'd have to sacrifice all of your connections unless they move with you
- I really should make a Mastodon at some point
